Tender Care Transport
It's a fact of life we all need to visit the doctor now and then, but the finest medical
services are of little value to individuals who can not access them. For those patients
who may have difficulty finding a ride to a medical appointment, Tender Care Transport
has implemented a program to assist them. A Non-Emergency Medical Transport Program
is now available to city residents that provides transportation to doctor's appointments,
medical tests, outpatient surgery and discharge from the emergency room.
We created our service by listening to our customers and meeting their needs. We are
working hard to provide the services you want so you will remember us each time you need
a transport.
We have surveyed our customers, as to meet their needs, we will take yoursuggestions
so that we can provide individual customer service plan that are personalized to your
individual facility's needs. We are confident that we can provide the best care that
meets your needs and the needs of those being transported, as to benefit both of
our customers (you and your resident).
Enrolled residents or Social Workers can schedule medical transportation for
appointments by advising the program Transportation Coordinator of their time and
location at least one day in advance, although it is preferable that trips be scheduled at
least one week in advance. The Transportation Coordinator will confirm appointments,
schedule service and issue travel vouchers.
